Digital Music News: Occupy: The Movement Finally Has a Soundtrack...

Digital Music News have an article stating that the Occupy Movement is about to get an album of protest songs written to support the protesters. No release date is given but it seems artists like Jackson Browne, Stephen Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Crosby & Nash, Lucinda Williams, and Toots and the Maytals are all contributing tracks.

The article goes on to say that there is a distinct lack of political music about these days despite the interconnectivity of the internet - MY VERY POINT - nice to see someone else observing this as well.
